Private: made on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.

Your details

Find it in your UPI app under your profile or "receive money". It looks like name@bank.

Use the name your bank shows for this UPI ID, so customers see a name they expect.

Only fill this for a fixed price, like a parking fee or a set meal.

How to make and use your UPI standee

  1. Copy your UPI ID from your UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or your bank's app) and paste it above.
  2. Type the payee name exactly as your bank shows it, and your shop name for the top of the poster.
  3. Before printing, scan the preview with another phone and pay yourself ₹1. Check that the right name and bank account show up.
  4. Download the PDF and print it at any print shop. A5 fits a counter acrylic stand. Lamination keeps it scannable for longer.

Print tip: keep the QR at least 4 cm wide, print on matte paper so it does not reflect tube light, and do not let the printer "fit to page" stretch it unevenly.

Questions

Is this UPI QR code safe? Can someone change it?

The QR only contains your UPI ID, name and optional amount, in the standard upi://pay format that every UPI app reads. Money always goes to the UPI ID inside it. The real risk is someone sticking their own QR over yours, so check your standee every day and keep it behind the counter where you can see it.

Does it work with Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm?

Yes. The code follows the UPI deep link format published by NPCI, so any UPI app can scan it, including BHIM and bank apps.

Is there any fee or limit?

DukaanKit is free and never touches your money. Your bank and UPI app decide any transaction limits. If you receive many payments a day, ask your bank about a merchant (business) UPI ID.

Should I add a fixed amount?

Only when the price never changes, such as a parking fee or a fixed thali. Otherwise leave it empty so customers type the bill amount themselves.

Why does my bank's own QR look different?

Bank and app QRs often add extra merchant fields. This tool makes a plain UPI QR with your UPI ID, which every UPI app accepts. If your bank gave you a merchant QR, you can keep using that one too.

Is my UPI ID sent anywhere?

No. The QR and the poster are drawn inside your browser. The details you type never leave your phone. There is no account. The site only counts page visits with GoatCounter, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data. The page also works without internet after the first visit.
